Boarding and Pet Sitting

So often, people have their plans set for vacation, but wait until the last minute to plan for their pets.
Most boarding places and in-home pet sitters get booked quickly as they are in high demand. We are generally booked a month or two in advance. During holidays, spring break and summertime, we book even faster.

Take the time to book your pet's care as soon as you know your vacation dates.
You don't want to make a last-minute decision to send your beloved pet to an unfamiliar kennel or place where they'll be crated much of the time without the care, love and affection they are used to getting at home. ​
We Offer Two Options
Whether you go on vacation, business travel or have an emergency, you can feel safe
leaving your pet with us. While you're away, know that your pets are in responsible,
caring hands. We treat them like our own.
Pet Sitting in Your Home
​
Our sitters stay at your house 24/7.​
They may leave for a few hours at times for errands and such,
but are at your home most of the time.
​
Our sitters have years of experience boarding and sitting pets.
You can feel confident that your pet will get the love and attention
he or she always gets and will feel so much more comfortable
keeping to their normal routine and environment.
​
They can dispense medications (for compliant pets), clean the
litter box/cage, and, of course play with and pamper your pet.
As a complimentary service, we can also water indoor plants,
bring in mail, newspaper, and packages, rotate lights, and take
out garbage and recycling.
​
Overnight pet sitting in your home is a wonderful option if you
or your pet are uncomfortable at a traditional boarding facility.
Pets are typically most comfortable staying in their own home while
their people are away. You'll have peace of mind knowing that
your pet is comfortable and cared for at home.
if your dog is leash reactive, we can't walk them, but
can play with them in your backyard or in the house.
The cost for one dog is $95/for a 24 hour period.
If the stay extends beyond 24 hours,
an additional fee will be incurred.

Each additional dog is $10 extra.
Cats are $10 extra.

Prior to our stay, you will get a free* meet and greet so you can meet your sitter and go over everything that is necessary for their stay. After a successful meet and greet, we will send you an invoice for your deposit. Reservations are not secured until deposit is made.
*If you live 30 minutes or more outside of Mt. Airy, MD. there will be a $25 fee for the meet and greet.

A 50% deposit is required for overnight visits. If any pet sitting visit is canceled 72 hours or more before service starts, the deposit goes to credit; if any pet sitting visit is canceled less than 72 hours before service starts, the deposit, and any payments made, are non-refundable. ​
Holiday visits
Holiday visits are $120/24 hrs. and $25 per additional pet.
If your visits include a holiday, we require FULL PAYMENT to reserve your spot. ALL PAYMENTS are non-refundable.

Our holidays:
New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day,
July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve,
and Christmas Day.

*Cancellation times and policies are the same
whether there is a deposit made or not.

*There is no refund for early return by owner.
Reserved dates to be paid in full at beginning of
reserved dates, not when owner returns.
Boarding in our Home
​
We can board dog-friendly dogs 25lbs and under.​
Your pup(s) will be staying with me!
A certified professional dog trainer/behavior consultant.
​
I have been dog training for over 15 years and boarding dogs
through my board and train program for 12 years. You can feel confident that your dog will be very well taken care of!
​
We board no more than two dogs at a time. Our house is on
almost an acre and is entirely fenced in and "small dog" proof. ​
Your pet will get the love and attention he or she always gets
and will enjoy a more stress-free time in our home environment.
No need to stay at a facility with tons of barking dogs and stress.
​
During their stay, we can dispense medications as needed.
They will get lots of play time during the day and tasty
chews in the evenings. They are out and about with
us throughout the day, not kept in cramped crates or kennels.
They will sleep how they sleep at night in your home,
(In my room, if that's what works for them!)

Boarding in our home is a wonderful option if you or your
pet are uncomfortable at a traditional boarding facility, or if
you don't want someone staying at your home.
You'll have peace of mind knowing that your pet is
comfortable and being well-cared for.​
We apologize we can only board dogs that:

Are under 25lbs.
-
Do well with other dogs and cats.
-
Do well with people.
-
Do not show any signs of aggression.
-
Do not have separation anxiety.
-
Are potty trained.
The cost for one dog is $75/night.
​Additional dog is $50 extra.​​

Prior to a stay, we'll do a meet and greet where you will bring your pup(s) here to meet us and make sure they are comfortable with us and our dog and cat.

Holiday boarding is $95/night for one dog
and $55 per additional dog.
Dogs must be from same household!

If Holiday boarding is canceled 10 days or more before boarding was to begin, the deposit goes to credit; if any boarding stay is canceled less than 10 days before boarding was to begin, the deposit, and a
ny payments made, are non-refundable.
